Cafe Ba Ba Reeba's New Year's Day Pajama Brunch Will Be (Almost) Free In PJs

New Year's Day PJ Brunch At Ba Ba Reeba (And It's Practically Free)

Sure, we put in the effort to make plans for New Year's Eve -- if you're not throwing a party, or going to one, there are hundreds if not thousands of bars and restaurants across the city with events, deals, specials, what have you.

But what about that hazy, hung-over morning after? The first morning of 2011? That shouldn't go to waste, either, but who has the energy to put together an elaborate New Year's brunch?

Thankfully, Chicagoist lets us know that the folks at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba have got it covered. The respected Spanish restaurant in Lincoln Park, known for its mouthwatering and reasonably-priced tapas, is having a special New Year's brunch that Saturday morning.

And since they understand that you might not be in the mood to dress up all over again, they're encouraging a more relaxed dress code: pajamas.

In fact, they're so into the idea of their New Year's Day PJ Brunch -- replete with thick-cut oat meal, strawberry waffles, and sausage fried paella rice -- that if you actually wear PJs to the meal, they'll give you a gift certificate equal to the price of your meal, less tax and tip.

Amazing brunch, that we don't have to cook, in our PJs, and almost free? Hey, we'll take it.

Sangria and Bloody Marys will also be flowing, if you're looking to cure that hangover (or get started on a new one).
