Grammer Divorce: Camille Opens Up About The Split (VIDEO)

Several weeks after Kelsey Grammer announced his engagement to flight attendant Kayte Walsh, his ex Camille opened up to Extra about their impending divorce, which is not yet finalized. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star dished on the demise of her marriage, Kelsey's upcoming nuptials, and spending the holidays alone.

On why the marriage failed:
We've been together for 14 years, I thought we had a really good run of it. I still love my husband, my soon to be ex husband. I respect him as a person, I don't respect how he handled the affair and the divorce and how things went down.

On reconciling:
He's in love, he's getting married, so I don't think there's any reconciliation. Someone gets engaged and tells you he's going to get married in January and we're still legally married. We're separated, we're not divorced yet. Our divorce is not finalized, and I got word that he's getting married in January.

On speaking to her ex:
I would love to have an open dialogue with my husband at this point because I think it's really important to co-parent, and the only way we're going to co-parent the correct way is if we talk, and right now it's through e-mail and lawyers.

On what's next:
Right now my focus is moving through this divorce process, because it's really taking up a lot of my time, and basically healing and my kids. My kids are my number one priority and making sure that they're OK and they're healthy and they're happy.

On her spending the holidays without Kelsey:
It's not easy. The loneliness--Kelsey and I, this was our favorite holiday to spend together. Kelsey enjoyed decorating the tree and that's something we all did as a family, and so last night I was decorating the tree with the kids alone and it brought a tear to my eye, or several. It's definitely not easy. But you know, time to make new traditions. So I'm creating new traditions with my family and my children.

Well, Camille got older and Kelsey decided to trade her for a newer model. I wonder how much a factor her nastiness, arrogance and spite were.

How pathetic! All of these women are emotionally scarred, which is apparent by their neurotic behavior and quest for attention! They are all rich in terms of cash flow but they lack in real emotional wealth! cosmetic surgery, drugs and alcohol will never heal their craziness! What's even more disturbing is that they allow for the world to see their pathetic life and think nothing of it!

They are all obnoxious people who are just into their immediate desires! People are no more than the newest toy to them! Camille seems conniving and fake,and Kelsy is trying to hang onto his youth! I think that heart attack was a wake up call in reverse! (or maybe obnoxious people just need to inflict their disease to many others!)

As sneaky as Kelsey is, he is a smart sneak...he pushed for Camille to be on the Housewives show while he is in NY gallivanting and finding his next wife...if Camille was not on HW, we would all be sympathetic to her plight...but now that we all have seen her in action, we all wonder how she last so long with Kelsey...
Someone mentioned that this sneaky way Kelsey broke up with Camille was the only way to break up with a narcissist, without too much drama and in fact that may be true...as long as the children have stable life with their 4 nannies, Camille will soon get over this and be out on the prowl for her next victim!
Camille should not have joined the HW show but then again, hindsight is 20/20...too little too late!

I would have felt bad for her but for her conduct on The Real Housewives show. She appears to be an arrogant vindictive witch who has only the highest opinion of herself and enjoys abusing others. As awful as Grammer's conduct is, after seeing Camille in action I can't imagine that he lasted 13 years with her. She is truly and viscerally disgusting to watch. Neither of them seem to have much of a connection with their children - how can you with 4 nannies for 2 kids? - so maybe the children's world will remain stable. That's all that matters. She also seems very involved with her BF's hubby - sure doesn't look platonic, they practically make out on the show. Yuk.

Feel sad for the kids.

They've gotta grow up knowing that they are surrogate kids.
You know kids probably pick on them abou that.

And now they've got a dad who seems half-way interested in them & that new chick will produce one soon.

And .... He doesn't even live in LA anymore.

And the way that he ABANDONED them.

I need therapy just thinking about it all.

Camile, Camile, Camile, where do I start?  I watch the show and although the producers can direct the narrative, you aren't looking good.  When you comment how other people are "below" you because your husband (soon to be ex) is/was an A list actor with a lot of dough, you now only look foolish.

His wealth and fame are his and not yours, well in California you get half but that's not the point.  You can't look down on others because you think you are socially above them all, money doesn't buy you respect.  Now that you are on your own you will soon find out that the Red Carpet doesn't have your name on it. 

Take Adrienne Maloof, now she is a woman of substance.  I guess when you make your own money you treat the world differently.  Camille Grammer should take a page out of her book and live by it.

Adrienne and Paul are made for each other. They both have the same sense of humor. If you notice, she's mostly joking with Paul and he with her. She, Lisa (who I adore) and Kyle have the strongest bonds with their spouses.

I didnt know plastic could cry? Seriously I can't stand her. She's so factitious. However I definately despise the way Kelsey handled his separation from Camille. He's a sneaky no good dog who did go behind his wifes back to have an affair with another woman. No woman or man deserves to be treated that way.
