Nancy Pelosi's Decade In Style (PHOTOS, POLL)

The past decade was good to Nancy Pelosi: she became the first woman Speaker of the House and she secured her title as Armani lover and Queen of Skirt Suits. She began 2000 with a total reluctance to give up the '90s, holding on to oversized shoulder pads and shapeless suits (layered with turtleneck sweaters, of course).

But over time, Pelosi's wardrobe has evolved to include flattering skirt suits in colors other than black or gray, and her red carpet ensembles are prime examples of age-appropriate glamour. One thing that hasn't changed over the years, however, is her penchant for beaded necklaces.

As she returns to Washington to become House Minority Leader in the new year, tell us which looks should be left in this decade, and which looks should follow Nancy into her new job.

There may have those who felt that Nancy Pelosi should have gone quietly into the night when she lost the speakership. I am one of those who hoped that she would stay. Needless to say, this writer was pleased with her final decision . She was, and is, a trooper--For the President, for the middleclass, and a trooper for America. From day one, I Personally noticed a genuine look of pride in, and a genuine fondness for, our nation’s first African-American president. There is no doubt that she would stand behind any elected Democrat President. But the fact that THIS President was elected now in spite of our nations’ past made this elect that much more special. As an African-American, I took a strong liking to who shared my pride, and many American’s pride, in Obama and the country that elected him. I do not know if Pelosi would accept this, but: on behalf of myself, and many other Africa-Americans, I would like to make her an Honorary Sister.

Some great outfits here and cool accessories, but Mrs. Pelosi has also learned that it's important to make sure that your clothes fit your body well. She must have a good tailor!!

I would admire Pelosi even if she shaved her head.
On the other hand, Palin is pretty, in a conventional sort of way, but what is inside her heart and head makes her repulsive.

she aged well.....I'm all for plastic surgery (or whatever makes you happy) but I would like to be able to not smile once in awhile.However, maybe that look makes her happy.
