Kobe Bryant and the team were dominated by LeBron James and Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat in their first match up of the season (Lakers lost 96-80). Husband and wife Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz were spotted in the stands, as well as rapper Kanye West, singer Will.i.am, and actor Sylvester Stallone. As usual, Lamar Odom's wife Khloe Kardashian was there to show her support, as well as DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, who attends every game. Magic Johnson on the Lakers in a post-game analysis: "they embarrassed themselves and they embarrassed their fans."
