Lydia Hearst Playing Lindsay Lohan In 'Dogs In Pocketbooks'

Look Who's Been Cast As Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan may be out of movie roles, but she will be portrayed on the big screen by model/heiress Lydia Hearst in the upcoming comedy 'Dogs in Pocketbooks.'

"Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media -- a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan," screenwriter Charles Casillo told the New York Post. "I spent a lot of time casting for the right actress for this screwball comedy, but Lydia is perfect."

Casillo added that the movie was not meant to be mean-spirited towards Lindsay, but a spoof on the modern celebrity obsession. Joan Collins costars as a high-powered agent.

Lydia, 26, is reportedly dating Jeff Goldblum, 58. This will be her first major acting job.

Last month Lindsay was dropped from 'Inferno' and replaced by Malin Akerman. Just before Christmas, she was involved in a physical scuffle with a rehab staffer who accused her of criminal battery and was subsequently fired and dropped the charges.
