Discovered in 1982 at the age of 16 while detasseling corn, Cindy Crawford joined Elite Model Management one year later and hasn't looked back. Crawford's scored countless covers (from Vogue to Playboy) and campaigns, walked numerous runways and even shot commercials and music videos for the small screen.
Since retiring from modeling in 2000, Cindy's editorials and ads are few and far between. In lieu of posing, she has launched home goods lines with Raymour & Flanagan and J. C. Penney, and has become involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities, the California Wildlife Center, and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. And she's the mom of Presley and Kaia, her two children with husband Rande Gerber.
Crawford has, however, been spotted on the occasional red carpet where the supermodel has continued to rock dresses with dramatic slits. Yowsa.
Check out Cindy Crawford then and now.
