The Queen Honors British Arts Figures

Numerous British arts figures, including writers and pop stars, are included in Queen Elizabeth's annual honors list, which was released in London on Friday. The list recognizes distinguished service to Great Britain. It features the writer Antonia Fraser, author of several widely praised biographies and the widow of the playwright Harold Pinter. She led the group and was designated a dame, the female equivalent of a knight, for her contributions to literature.
