Kathy Griffin: Going After Willow Palin Next

Another year, another Palin for Kathy Griffin.

Griffin, who joined (and tried to undress) Anderson Cooper for his New Year's Eve special, spent 2010 antagonizing Sarah and Bristol Palin. And now, citing Sarah's 16-year old daughter WIllow Palin's homophobic Facebook slurs, Griffin said its her turn to face criticism.

"I've already gone for Sarah, Todd and Bristol obviously," Griffin told The Hollywood Reporter. "But I think it's Willow's year to go down."

"She's called people a fa---t on Facebook a couple of times," she said. "You don't throw around the f-word without hearing from me about it."

The words were especially offensive to Griffin, a noted gay rights activist.

Griffin had Levi Johnston, Bristol's ex fiancee and the father of her son, accompany her to the stage at a show in Anchorage, Alaska, where she told jokes at Sarah's expense. Later in the year, she cracked jokes at Bristol Palin, making fun of her weight and calling her "the white Precious."

In that same gallup poll 36% of respondents affiliated w/Dems and only 26% w/Repubs. Of the remaining independents, 51% leaned Dem to 39% leaning Repub. Then if you look at polling on issues, the progressive stance usually trumps the conservative stance. Check out this youtube vid

At 16, Willow might be a minor but she is not a little kid. At the same age, my own daughter was already developing into the intelligent, responsible, and compassionate adult that she is today. Our children learn by our own example, and as much as I love Kathy, she should give it up because she can't stop Willow from turning into another Palin mean girl. That's who they are and what they do. Mama Grizzly must be so proud.

I am no fan of the Palins.
And I wasn't aware that Beck had gone after the president's daughter(inexcusable!)
I just feel that kids should be off limits. And no I am not excusing Willow's behaviour. But what is it with these so called comedians and the race to the bottom?
I sat back and read about handler's rant against Jolie. Was it really necessary to go that far and bring her adopted son into the rant? Ok. she's aniston's friend and hates jolie no problem.
But why take it to such a level?
It's the same with griffin in the guise of being a "comedian" tasteless, vulgar and personal attacks are their act. I personally can't stand when a comedian goes to far and keeps on the same topic in targeting anyone celebrity or not and especially kids. How is this funny?
Yes what Willow did was wrong and I am hoping mom and dad sat down with her and had a talk but come on she's 16. Hold her accountable and have her learn from her mistake and move on to something that is actually funny. The sad thing so many people support these hate filled rants by these "comedians".

I personally don't agree with Ms Griffin and think this little Palin should be off limits. But, 'I am hoping mom and dad sat down with her and had a talk'.

Please. The Palin 'parents' (hard to tell the difference between them and the kids) were most likely telling her what to type. I doubt very seriously they had anything but a pep talk with her. It's like watching The Beverly Hillbillies except the Palins aren't funny, just sad.

I remember the first time I saw Kathy Griffin, I thought she was charming and cute and funny. It seems so long ago.
