Lindsay Lohan Quotes Gandhi In New Year's Resolution Tweet

UPDATE: GossipCop.com is reporting that Lohan told the site herself that she has not left rehab.

"I didn't leave [rehab]," she told the site, adding she was then"going to the gym."

Addressing rumors that she was moving homes once out of rehab, she said, "Im not moving from my apartment... That's not true either."

PREVIOUSLY:

Lindsay Lohan got out of rehab on Monday, and she's looking to a pretty good role model to help her stay out of trouble.

Lohan tweeted what could be seen as her New Year's resolution on January 1st, quoting Nobel Peace Prize nominee Mahatma Gandhi.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time...." she wrote, making clear her intention to stay clean and behave well in the new year.

Of course, last year Lohan had a similar resolution:

"To answer everybody's question...My new years resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try2constantly tear me down," she wrote, before adding, "2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!? :)"

Let's hope she does a better job of it this year.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this text stated that Mahatma Gandhi is a Nobel Peace Prize winner. He has in fact never received the prize, and the text has been amended to reflect that.
