A decorated former Greenwood Village police sergeant is suing the city and former Police Chief Donnie Perry, saying he was fired for his participation in a police union.
The former sergeant, Patrick Cillo, filed the lawsuit in federal court Dec. 22. In it, he alleges he was "illegally terminated" in September 2009.
