Cristiano Ronaldo Pressured By One-Night Stand After £10 Million Payoff: Report

The mother of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo's love child has been revealed as a British student and now she is allegedly pressuring him for access to the baby, according to the Daily Mail.

Ronaldo, who admitted to having the baby last summer, reportedly "bought the 20-year-old mother's silence in a £10million deal."

But sources say she now bitterly regrets handing over her baby - said to be the result of a one-night stand after she met the Portuguese superstar in a London nightclub - and regularly phones him saying she has changed her mind and offering to pay the money back.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the mother calls Ronaldo late at night and "pleads" with him to see their child, but the footballer taunts her "by telling her he may consider her requests... if she repays some of the money."

The woman is said to be prepared to give the money back and regrets making the deal:

A friend of Ronaldo, who at 25 has already established himself as one of the most talented players of all time, said: "As far as he is concerned, it was her choice, her decision. He says, 'She has zero rights to my son. She's not seeing him ever again'.

Typically you read about the sports star paying support to the mother of the child he's had from a brief affair/encounter, so I have to say I'm a bit shocked by the fact the dude acknowledged and took in the child. I have to give him some credit for at least doing that.

I believe in equality amongst the sexes. Had the situation been reversed, would there be some of the same comments made regarding her? She made a "deal" and that should be treated the same way.
You can't have it both ways. If you want equality you have to deal with the consequences.
I give Cristiano credit for wanted to raise his child in his family the way he sees fit.
I would do the same thing. I would want to have my child and keep him in my family. She "gave" him up and that's that.

Some of you need some serious empathy. It's not BLACK AND WHITE like that. You don't know if she was pressured into signing it. You don't know what they told her when she signed it. You don't know if she knew all the details she would be agreeing to. If she was already isolated from her friends and family into not revealing she's the mother, perhaps she wasn't thinking clearly, and if she's an impressionable type, then yea something like this can arise. Did you not read the fine print where it said how she's even willing to give back the money? That doesn't sound like a gold-digger, or someone who just wants more money. People have horse-blinders on and just want to immediately assume good versus evil. Geez have some compassion.

I hate to be the one to actually bring this up, but young rich athletes are bound to attract the sort of female who sees a one nighter as a proper investment for the future...yes there are many like Chryl Cole who have a career.....Colleen Rooney has a job I suppose, but there are others like Danielle Lloyd and Vanessa Perroncel who exist soley to spend their significant others money.

I doubt it ran out, but everything I read (which I can only go by) sounds like the girl had no one to turn to an unfortunately turned to him. Contractually obligating her to not talk about his with anyone including family, that's just crazy.
