Jacob Volkmann On Obama: 'Someone Needs To Knock Some Sense Into That Idiot' (VIDEO)

After UFC's Jacob Volkmann beat Antonio McKee in a fight this weekend, Fanhouse's Ariel Helwani asked him who he would like to fight next.

At first, the 30-year-old said MMA fighter Clay Guida, but then he called out President Barack Obama.

"Actually, Obama. He's not too bright," Volkmann said. "Someone's gotta knock some sense into that idiot."

Helwani then asked if he was a fan of Sarah Palin. Volkmann said "no" and explained that he didn't like what Obama was doing.

"I'm a chiropractor," he said. "So I know the health care situation is not good. But he's making it worse."

geez, does every little thing need to be blown way out of proportion? does everything in tv land need to go viral? I hear this sort of stuff everyday by regular peeps, but speaking your mind on tv turns into an OMG?!

come on now, I may not be in agreement with volkmann, but it's his right as american to believe whatever he wants. Although, peeps need to stop pointing the finger of blame and start working on a solution.

That he was paid a visit by SS hardly says good things about our government. It clearly was not a genuine threat. Was it a silly and bizarre remark? Yes. But it was one made off-the-cuff in a hallway interview.

Perhaps he should have mentioned Chael Sonnen who was suspended from the UFC today due to his conviction on money laundering charges. This soon after he was suspended for r0id use.

The Secret Service made a visit to Jacob last night while he was coaching Youth Wrestling and to his house. Questioned his motives regarding the comments. Told him to keep his thoughts and opinions and any comments regarding the president, his administration, and policies to himself!!!!
