San Francisco Chronicle:

"How would you describe the Newsom administration's homeless legacy?"

I asked Rebecca Nichols, who during Gavin Newsom's tenure as San Francisco mayor had experienced homelessness, and through sheer determination pulled herself, her children and grandchildren up and out. Her description: "tunnel vision" and "lacking compassion."

The sentiment of San Franciscans is evident on the story's page. It would seem as though the majority of SF residents want his policies toward the homeless to continue, as is shown by the vast majority of comments and the "up or down" system they use to rate them.

I could be wrong; the majority of commenters and people who rate them could simply be a group of heartless trolls who enjoy picking on the lowest of the low in our society, but it would seem, based on those comments, that the majority of (vocal) SF residents want their homeless to die in a fire, so to speak...which is unfortunate.

The guy is the lowest of low. Made his political runs by kicking the most helpless in society. Did nothing about the homeless but convinced the rich to vote for him.
