'Nightline' Gets Big Ratings Win For First Time

"Nightline" notched an impressive ratings win over its late night rivals, beating them all in the fourth quarter of 2010.

The ABC news show drew 3.93 million viewers in the quarter, with 1.61 million in the coveted A25-54 demo, coming in first in both categories. This was the first time it had beaten both "The Tonight Show" and "Late Show" in the fourth quarter.

In comparison, "Tonight" drew 3.88 million viewers, and "Late Show" drew 3.6 million.

"Nightline" is having something of a banner year overall; so far, it leads the ratings for the season to date, something it has not done since 1993.
