CES 2011's Secret Side: It's Not All High Tech (PHOTOS)

HuffPostTech is in Las Vegas for the massive International Consumer Electronics Show, the largest consumer tech trade show in the world.

With over 120,000 attendees and thousands of exhibitors, it's the fashion week of the tech world--if every fashion week in the world was held at the same time, in the same place.

But while everyone at the convention is focused on the latest and greatest devices that are smaller, faster, lighter, more mobile, and more convenient than their predecessors, we caught a glimpse of another, lesser-known low-tech side of CES.

It's not all tablets, smartphones, 3D TVs, and Internet-connected refrigerators: The view behind the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center offered a reminder that behind all the glitzy gizmos there's a far less mobile--and more wooden--side. Instant may be in, and wireless all the rage, but as the stacks of boxes attest, even the trendiest trendsetters of the tech world have to be low-tech at times, relying on good-old-fashioned muscle, dollies, and heavy-duty crates.
