'All For Angels' Haiti Benefit This Wednesday In Santa Monica

'All For Angels' Benefit Concert For Haiti

Angelcare presents "All For Angels," a benefit for Haiti Relief, this Wednesday at Central in Santa Monica. Proceeds from the benefit--which takes place on the one year anniversary of the 7.0 earthquake that devastated Haiti--will be donated directly to the children and residents of Haiti who are still in desperate need of medical care, shelter, clothing and education.

The poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti was hit by a hurricane and a cholera epidemic after experiencing last year's earthquake. In response, non-profit organization Americans Care and Share pledged to focus its Angelcare program on helping the poverty-stricken country and provide relief to Haitians. Wednesday night's benefit will feature performances by Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Trulio Disgracias (featuring Norwood Fisher, John Bigham, Bronx Style Bob, Fernando Pullum), OPM, Meet Me At The Pub, and more. There will also be live art, featured guest speakers, and a silent auction.

When: Wednesday, January 12. Doors open at 8pm. Event starts at 9pm.
Where: Central S.A.P.C., 1348 14th Street in Santa Monica, CA
Cost: $20 advance, $25 at door. For more information, click here.
