Chet Hanks, Son Of Tom, Mixes School-Spirit Rap (VIDEO)

This Celebrity Son Is An Up-And-Coming Rapper

Tom Hanks already has an actor among his progeny -- and now he has an emerging hip-hop impresario, too.

Chester "Chet" Hanks, a Northwestern University student, just released his first single, a remix of Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" appropriately titled "White and Purple (Northwestern Remix)" (watch below).

"I'm livin' college life only 'til the world is mine," Chet, who uses the nom d'artiste Chet Haze, raps. He also sings of the requisite kegs, blunts, and, uh, books that tend to fill college students' days (Update: We've received word that Hanks is actually referring to a bar known as "The Keg" near Northwestern's campus. For what it's worth).

Word on campus is that Hanks is "a real good guy."

Previously work includes a cameo in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
