Gang Rape Of 14-Year-Old Recorded On Cell Phone, Four Teens Charged

More disturbing details emerged Thursday surrounding the brutal gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in suburban Stickey that was captured on cell phone video.

Vicente Hernandez, 22; Alex Picallo, 16; Majeed Khalifeh, 18 and Jonathan Leanos, 19, were charged Wednesday with aggravated criminal sexual assault after allegedly gang raping the teen in Leanos' home Saturday.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the girl met Leanos on Myspace last summer, and the two met several times before he took her to his house over the weekend.

NBC Chicago explained what allegedly happened after they arrived at the home:

Leanos asked the victim to have sex with him, but she refused, and he then forced her, according to police.

Later, the three other teens met up at Leanos' house, and forced the girl to have sex with them as well, police say. The teens recorded the attacks on a cell phone.

The Tribune reports that when Hernandez entered the room, he broke the girl's phone and continued to sexually assault her--even after she pleaded that she was only 14.

In court Thursday, Hernandez's attorney told the judge his client was a hardworking family man who denies raping the teen.

However, his actions when leaving the Stickey courthouse Thursday seemed to contradict that image. NBC Chicago captured Hernandez giving reporters the middle finger and throwing up a gang sign when leaving in the back of a squad car.

All four men were ordered held on bond ranging from $500,000 to $750,000.
