January Jones: 'X-Men' Character 'Barely Dressed'

January Jones is dropping the 'Mad Men' Susie Homemaker dresses for something a bit more scandalous in 'X-Men: First Class.'

The blonde star of the 60's-set AMC drama is taking on the role of villain Emma Frost in the new mutant action movie, and says that while the film is also set in that decade, the character will be a bit more risque.

"The costumes are insane," Jones told the LA Times. "It's a lot of very body-conscious stuff. If you look at the comic book, she's barely dressed. She's got quite the bod, which is very intimidating."

Of course, she's not unused to showing skin -- in December she debuted very, very revealing ads for Versace.

Mystique's costume was something quite different. Emma Frost has a whole different kind of sexy going on. It should be interesting.

I always liked Emma Frost. Finola Hughes' portrayal in that horrible TV movie and the barely recognizable version in Wolverine were very bad. I think this movie could be really great if they use the very mod feeling from the 60's and make it super sleek and colorful with today's technology.

I approve of this! Hopefully the movie isn't terrible though, I still can't get over the fact that Sir Ian McKellen played Magneto. The guy hit personality perfectly, but Magneto had a body (in comics) of the governator of circa 1980s, the bad guy from Avator would have made a great Magneto in hindsight.

I hope the new X-Men movie doesn't completely BLOW like the last one did (and the Wolverine movie too).

That said, I can't wait for Ms. Jones to play Ms. Frost. Emma's one of my favorite characters, and I think January has the chops to kill it.
