The King’s Speech" or "the social connection". Both about communication. Except one is marketed for twitters.

Long live the King.

There really seems to be a backlash against this movie. My opinion: it's excellent, and the best movie I've seen in years.

Others may disagree, but to say it "sucked", "was a piece of crap" - it really makes me wonder about what's going on with those posters.

It is not with out some degree of humor that you over looked "The King’s Speech" for "the social network" then note the lack of command of, simplistic vocabulary of the English language and monosyllabic derogatory remarks made by the audience "the social network" was marketed to? What can i say but "dude: cheers

I didn't overlook "The King's Speech" - I really liked that, too.

And I'll take monosyllabic remarks, over the polysyllabic unintelligible rant above, any day.

The "Social Network" sucked and it glamorized a pimply-faced egghead who is probably still and will always be a virgin.

Did this movie win due to Hollywoods infatuation with social networks? Really thought Inception and Black Swan were better.

Greast script by Mr. Sorkin. As usual!

Inception felt like a sci-fy channel movie.

This movie was just... okay. I watched it and it had no "wow" factor. Don't get me wrong, I was entertained the whole time, I just think Inception and Black Swan were way better. Also I probably would really like The King's Speech too.

I liked the social network but not nearly as much as inception or black swan. Those movies were masterpieces.

I liked The Social Network a lot. I thought Jesse Eisenberg and the others did a great job and the movie was a great success.

I can support this decision. It went far beyond what anyone expected, and wasn't the typical Oscar bait that The King's Speech is. I would have preferred Black Swan, but I'm okay with this.

I disagree with the "oscar bait" comment on The King's Speech. It's a good story based on fact just like The Social Network. I thought The Social Network was very good, but I do not think it deserves best picture - by a long shot.

Mediocre. At best.
