Is Denver a better shopping city than New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles?
That's what Forbes magazine says in its latest survey of America's 25 Best Cities for Shopping.
Forbes ranked Denver as the 13th best place to shop based on a variety of factors including number and square footage of retail outlets, number of shopping malls and combined sales tax rates.
Denver beat out such high-profile shopping destinations as Chicago (15), Los Angeles (16) and New York (22).
Texas cities dominated Forbes's list, with Houston and Dallas capturing the to two spots in the list.
