On her Monday show, Rachel Maddow said she would attend the next NRA convention--and revealed a surprising fact about her first date with her partner, Susan Mikula.
Maddow was speaking to Meghan McCain about gun control. McCain, who is an NRA member, invited Maddow to join her at the next convention. "Yes, absolutely, I accept," Maddow replied instantly.

But Maddow also revealed that the NRA played a part in her relationship with Mikula.
"My first date with Susan was at an NRA 'Ladies Day On The Range' event, and that is as close as I have ever gotten to the NRA," she said.
