Most of these choices already have pretty darn good jobs. I don't want to see Jeff Probst leave Survivor and why would NPH leave a hit show? What about Tony Danza ?

So long as the show continues as "Kelly and ?" and not the other way around. It would be too insulting to bring in some guy and put his name ahead of Kelly's. That would be reason to never watch the show again.

When I was young, our local channel showed old movies in that time slot, albeit edited for tv and pan and scanned. Then came the game shows before the soap operas started, ending the afternoon with "Dark Shadows" and the 4:30 movie. There were also the afterschool specials. I'd rather see an old made-for-tv movie or fun series in that slot than these shrill talk shows. Or some game shows would be good, ones that exploit knowledge, not worm-eating!
