Supreme Court Walmart

The Consumerist:

America, please welcome the world's smallest Walmart. It opened last week on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. Of course, the concept of "small" is relative when it comes to Walmarts: the new store is about 3,500 square feet of retail space, and replaces the former campus health center pharmacy.

These students can now see where they will be working after they get out of college. Good luck paying off those loans on Walmart wages.

This is a huge reason why my son is not at that University. Gross beyond belief.

Universities have been selling out for years. Companies like Aramark that run the food are not mom and pop chains.

Actually Wal-Mart, like JB Hunt, Tyson, and other large companies in NW Arkansas work closely with the University and many graduates end up working for them.

They offer many programs such as internships for the students or at least they did a few years ago when I was in graduate school there.

Wal-Mart needs to just go ahead and change their name to Buy-N-Large.

Nice.  Now the graduates of the University of Arkansas have a place to work after they have completed their studies.

What better way to train students for their future careers, an internship at Walmart.
