Kourtney Kardashian: My Family Hates My Boyfriend Scott Disick (VIDEO)

Maybe he's no longer drawing OJ comparisons?

Kourtney Kardashian appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Thursday, ready to talk about her new show -- and some family drama. She opened up about her troubles with boyfriend Scott Disick, of whom she says her family is no fan -- though things are getting a tiny bit better.

"There's progress. Last year, in our Christmas card, Scott was not in it, Ryan Seacrest took his place," Kardashian said, explaining that her mother chose a picture from Khloe's wedding for the family Christmas picture. "Scott was like, 'I wasn't even in a wedding picture? No one asked me to even be in one?'"

This year, Disick was in the Christmas photo -- because he can finally be in the same room as his family.

"Now Khloe and Scott can be in the same room. Before they would be like, if Scott knew Khloe was going to be there, he wouldn't come, if Khloe knew Scott was going to be there, she wouldn't come," Kourtney said.." So now they can be in the same room -- they're definitely not calling each other like, 'I miss you so much, let's talk,' they don't speak, but they're civil."

It's taken a while to get to this point, as Kourtney and Disick, parents to one-year old son Mason, have had their ups and downs -- including a violent breakup last summer.

At that point, Disick had gotten drunk and violent, scaring Kourtney into a brief breakup. Kris Jenner, Kourtney's mom, compared him to OJ Simpson, whom, ironically, her late first husband defended in his murder trial.

In late December, Scott had another blowup -- this time at a paparazzo bothering his family.

Kourtney: From what we know of you family, don't listen to them. What do they know about true love, romance or being with the same person for longer than a day or two?

If your family doesn't like Scott, that is a good thing! Your family has no credibility, we the public are exploiting your family for our selfish personal entertainment purposes and to teach us how not to be a family unit. The jokes on them, not you.

How should she refer to him? Her "husband", their not married. Her "fiance", they are not engaged. He is her boyfriend,thats how she should refer to him. Could you imagine how crazy the world would go if she refered to Scott as her husband, OMG, that would be hilarious, there would be crazy headlines everywhere for a week "KOURTNEY AND SCOTTS SECRET WEDDING", "KOURTNEY, SCOTT AND THEIR SECRET VOWS" and so on and so forth. I know, she should refer to him as "my baby daddy" every time she speaks of him. What seems juvenile to me is that people feel so compelled to pick apart other peoples lives.
