Roger Ebert's New Chin

Roger Ebert's New Chin

Roger Ebert has a new movie show, and now he has a new chin to go along with it.

In a blog post on Wednesday, Ebert revealed that, after a two-year process, he has had a prosthetic chin made for him, which he will wear during his appearances on the new show. Ebert's lower jaw was removed during surgery when he was battling cancer.

The new look was "not to fool anyone, because my appearance is widely known," Ebert wrote. "It will be used in a medium shot of me working in my office, and will be a pleasant reminder of the person I was for 64 years. Symbolically, it's as if my illness never happened and, hey, here I still am, on the show with these new kids."

The new show, "Roger Ebert Presents At The Movies," premieres on Friday night. To read the full post, and see the new chin, click here.
