At halftime of the UC Riverside women's basketball game on Saturday, Director of Men's Basketball Operations John Smallwood was chosen at random to attempt a shot from half court.
When Smallwood walked onto the court and started getting ready to take the shot, the crowd was surprised to see him attempt it backwards.
"I turned around and a guy in the stands shouted, 'Wrong way," Smallwood said. "I was like, 'Just wait.'"
Smallwood heaved the ball with his back to the basket and banked it in. Scroll down to watch the video.
