A 22-year-old factory worker in East Williamsburg died this morning after falling into an industrial tortilla dough mixer, police said.

According to the New York Times:

The man, whose name was not immediately released, was working at Tortilleria Chinantla at 975 Grand Street in East Williamsburg around 2:30 a.m. when he fell into the waist-high tub of the mixer and was pinned by the metal blade, which is not sharp but is powered by a strong motor, the police said.
