Razzies Awards 2011 Nominations: Worst Movies, Actors And Actresses Announced

First Posted: 01/24/11 12:01 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 07:25 PM ET

The Razzie Awards: in the midst of award season, this is the one time you don't want your name pulled from the envelope.

The nominations for the worst in the year of film were announced on Sunday night, with some big names getting some unwelcome recognition. Jennifer Aniston was nominated for Worst Actress for her role in "The Bounty Hunter," while counterpart Gerard Butler got a nod on the Actor side.

Overall, that film took home four nominations, but it was an underachiever compared to a few other duds: "The Last Airbender" got nine Razzie noms, as did "Twilight: Eclipse," which "earned" nominations for leads Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. Leading the way individually was Jessica Alba, who in just one year garnered a whopping four nominations for Worst Supporting Actress.

For more, check out Razzies.com and the Razzie Channel on YouTube.

Here's this year's entire list:

What no lifetime achievement Razzie Keanu Reeves? He's built his whole career on dewy good looks, a hard body (he looks good for 46) yepainful to watch acting ability. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Matrix movies as much as the next person, but really special effects and Laurence Fishburn were the stars. I'm thinking of his acting that stank up the screens in movies like "Dangerous Liaison," "Speed," and the classic stinker "Point Break."

Twilight Eclipse could only appeal to the under 16, terminally love-sick crowd. I have never seen so much cheese in one movie. T'was painful and deserves every ounce of scorn the Razzies can throw at it. A shame really as this could have been really entertaining if they had hired real writers that had survived puberty.

Palin and Jennifer Aniston seem to get HP responders really excited. Maybe she needs to run for office?

Jennifer Aniston on the worst actors list?:) Really? How is this possible?:) All her movies are average to poor...and her acting is as well.

I honestly think the director could have gone into more detail, but this was clearly the *BEST* thats right I said BEST movie in the saga so far!!! In my opinion, the Twilight Saga: Eclipse, definitely didn't deserve a Razzie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the life of me I have never been able to understand what anyone sees in this vapid, boring and extremely untalented individual.

Then I realized that vapid and boring may be part of her appeal for her fans. She reminds them of the kids they hung out with in junior high school. She doesn't demand any brain effort. She never says anything that makes you think.

It's funny how her fans always stick to the same stock phrases when they talk about her: "She's so hot! She has such great hair! She has such a great body!" But they never mention her brains, talent or personality, because they know she doesn't have any.

I applaud Jen for her consistency.
Every three months, year after year, she manages to make bad films.

Give credit where it is due.
She has a skill that most people clearly don't realize.

Have you ever done something for 15+ years WITHOUT getting any better at it? Consistent mediocrity takes focus and dedication.

15 years of bad acting? Give this consistent woman her dues. Congratulations Jen
:)

I agree! And she could be also on the worst list for drinking, hanging out with Chelsea Handler and partying almost naked in Cabo! No wonder she can't get married...
Check out our predictions for her:

Jennifer Aniston's nomination for "worst actress" should be a standing nomination as she is just about the worst actress every year.

No Nicholas Cage? I don't think it's possible to act worse than he.

she is due a lifetime award (and at such a young age!)

They should just retire that trophy. I don't think anyone can beat Aniston at making awful movies.
