Buffalo Transit Cop Took Confiscated Items Home

Ever wonder what happens to your tweezers, scissors or Swiss Army knives when they get confiscated at the airport? Well, there may be an answer, at least in Buffalo, New York: An unidentified transit cop has been accused of taking home personal items left behind at security at Buffalo's Niagara International Airport, according to the New York Post.

A Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority official told the Post that confiscated items are generally collected and taken to a recycling plant. This airport police officer, however, is said to have over 1,000 items, such as tweezers and nail clippers, at his home.
