SUBWAYS:
All subways service is running, except for the Franklin Ave shuttle. All work has been suspended.
METRO NORTH:
Some slight changes to Metro North. The MTA says that service is suspended on the New Canaan, Danbury and Waterbury branch lines. Hudson and Harlem Line trains are operating on a Saturday schedule." Check out their website for updated information.
LIRR:
Long Island Rail Road is operating at a reduced schedule, meaning that some westbound AM trains are canceled, and "Train service replaced by buses east of Speonk on the Montauk Branch and east of Ronkonkoma on the Main Line to Greenport." Check out their website for updates.
BRIDGES AND TUNNELS:
Good news! All roadways at MTA crossings have been salted and plowed. However the MTA urges drivers to use caution while driving.
BUSES:
Buses are another story. Bus service was suspended early in the morning during the worst of the storm, but the MTA is reporting that most lines have resumed operation.
