Charlie Sheen: Joe Estevez, His Uncle, Wants 'Two And A Half Men' Role While He's In Rehab

With family like this...

While Charlie Sheen goes through his latest round of rehab, insisted upon by father Martin Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards following his hospitalization after a cocaine and porn stars binge, TMZ reports that one family member is actually seeking to take advantage of his troubles.

The site claims it has obtained a letter sent by representatives Sheen's uncle, Joe Estevez -- his father's brother -- to the producers of 'Two And A Half Men,' proposing that he take on a guest role on the show.

"Chuck, just a wild thought ... How about a test episode of 'Two and a Half Men' where Joe comes to house sit while Charlie is on 'vacation?,'" the site quotes the rep's letter proposing -- Chuck refers to Lorre, the show's producer. He tried a similar move when Sheen's contract was running out in April 2010.

Estevez's career has been less successful than that of his brother or nephew, having appeared mainly in independent and B-movies. In 2010 he directed a film called 'Horrorween.'

They have no obligation to cut him off because they a worried about him. They are his employers not his enablers. Yeah the show's quaility has declined but anyshow on that long that started with a kid that age is gonna go down hill as time goes on. As an addict myself I can say nobody is responsible for Charlie's behavior but Charlie. I think he's doing rather well, considering, I'd be long dead with that kind of money.

Put on your glasses.

Charlie looks JUST LIKE his father. And Martin and this dude damn near look like twins. I thought it was just a bad picture of Martin Sheen, but low and behold, it's his brother.
