Jimmy McMillan: Sarah Palin, 'I Love You'

Jimmy McMillan, who captured the political spotlight with his unsuccessful bid for New York governor during the 2010 midterm election season, professed his love for Sarah Palin in an interview with AOL News published Saturday.

McMillan is the founder and leader of "The Rent Is Too Damn High" political party. He has mounted multiple failed campaigns for mayor of New York City and was kicked-off the ballot when he tried to run against Hillary Clinton for U.S. Senate in 2000, according to the Village Voice.

McMillan recently announced that he is running for president in 2012.

When asked by AOL News what he thinks of Sarah Palin and if he would consider her as a potential running mate for his campaign, here's what McMillan had to say:

Love her. Constitution. American citizen. Exercising the right to privacy. Free speech. Haters -- those who don't like Sarah Palin. That's what they are. Sarah Palin: I love you because America gives you the constitutional right to do whatever you want to do as a woman. And people don't think you can do because you're a woman. They try to make a mockery out of you. But you stand up for your rights and stand strong for your rights. And don't let anyone try to cut you down. Not only are they talking about Sarah Palin. They're talking about me.

I see......I guess that includes the right to exercise insurmountable ignorance, and championing said ignorance.

No, we don't think she can do it because she's incompetent.

She takes care of that just fine all by herself. Between Fox News and her reality show she's in expert in self inflicted character assassination.

This is something I have to admit is true......no matter how outrageous, antiquated and anachronistic they are, Sarah Palin definitely stands by......correction, stands strong by what she believes in.

Oh boy..how is sarah gonna handle this one? She's gonna have to talk to a black man!!!! The same color as President Obama! Mr. McMillan I don't know how to tell you this...but miss sarah don't like people dat look like our Prez Obama. I personally don't care how much you love ms sarah (but so you know..she does not nor ever will care for your race). If that so called woman who expresses her 1st amendment rights ever gets in office? Your race will be the first to be thrown back. She believes in exceptionalism. She believes SHE is exceptional. So watch what you love Mr. McMillan because that which you love would like nothing better than to see you where SHE FEELS YOU BELONG. No one ever treated ms sarah bad either..ms sarah has made her own name with her mouth. Keep in mind you are and always be an unacceptalbe person of color in her book. Unless of course you have a $100 thousand dollar bill plastered to your face ...she may pay attention to you then.

No Rent is too damn high guy, That is not why we dislike her there are really and truly legit reasons to dislike and distrust her, we liberals do not have to attach fake ones. Lets start with she is an embarrassment to the United States internationally, she is vapid and celebrates ignorance. Sarah panders to the lowest common denominator in our intellectual discussion as do you. I find her morally and ethically challenged. She is opportunistic and greedy. I could go on but... Sorry we prefer our women politician (women period) to be smart, intelligent and kind. But I can see YOUR attraction to her....
