SAG Awards 2011: Who Was Worst-Dressed? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Awards season was well underway at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. And it looks like some ladies need to revise their wardrobe strategy before the Oscars roll around.

We'll put out our usual disclaimer: There are some people on this list whom we love, so it pains us to place them on this list. And some of these women look utterly amazing most of the time. But flesh-tone frocks, pink-feathery explosions and appearing as though you're going to either a wedding or a funeral won't earn you high marks this time around.

Take a look at our nominees for worst-dressed and don't forget to tell us who was the SAG Awards' best-dressed.

Keeping with the theme of pleasing innocent children, at the SAG awards Paz de la Huerta did her best to rub her face in a pool of greasy sweat and matching lip and eye shadow to the ebullition of the deprived children of Shimeko. Whether she got trashed has yet to be publicly revealed, but patrons do recall seeing a bottle of rum spinning with anticipation when Paz walked past it.

There are a few dresses on here that are fine; by the way, to include a pregnant woman on worst-dressed list is just tacky. Maternity wear gets a pass, no matter what. Try being pregnant sometime.

Why is Mariska Hagirtay on this list? The color looks great on her, there's nothing wrong with that dress. Nicole Kidman ruined her look by putting on that necklace and wearing that hair. The dress could speak for itself, it didn't need anything else and the hair is just wrong. I don't think a 14yr old belongs on this list, she looks fine and age appropriate. Angie Harmon is very pretty and has a great body for clothes but she looks like a flamingo with a case of mange in that dress. Not good. I love Jenna Fischer, but that dress, makes her look shapeless and dumpy ( I think a good bra and some spanks would have helped her out a bit) the color is not good for her either. Dear Jane Lynch: Please, please, PLEASE leave the taffeta alone, that is one ugly Mother of the Bride Dress, you can do better.

These women you'd think wold have great stylists but unfortunately appears they do not. Kim K. is looking worse than ever. Jane Lynch is a deflated ball gown mess. It's just awful.

If anyone has ever watched Say Yes to the Dress on TLC, then they will know exactly what I mean when I say that Angie Harmon's dress looks like a pnina tournai wedding dress. Ugh.

Kim K is unrecognizable. Also Mariska Hargitay does NOT belong on the list. Great color and she looks absolutely stunning.

Quick thoughts:

Paz: You look like a dominatrix when she shows up after an all-nighter with the previous client.

Kim: Trying to channel Liz from Cleopatra. In the immortals words of eighch pea, EPIC FAIL! Now we’re off to the vomitorium.

Jane Lynch: Thank goodness you have a personality we can adore.

Melissa Leo: I like you… Gallactica or not.

Jayma: The dress starts and stops so many times it’s like a Metro bus in rush hour.

Angie: Inside a large winter muffler… and nearly pulls it off.

Heather Morris: Actually lovely. Needs a little contrast to distinguish it from your skin tone.

Mariska: Lordy! 47 years old and getting better!!! Come home with me. You can leave your dress on (w/apologies to Mr. Newman.). You are simply rockin!

Newman wrote it and recorded it in the early 70s.
Cocker had a popular version in the mid 80s (9 1/2 weeks).

I knew the minute I saw Harmon's dress that she'd get slaughtered. Dumb, just dumb.
Nicole Kidman should know better.
Heather Morris...i can't tell where her dress ends and she begins. Who is she anyway?
Jenna Fischer...now that's just lazy.
Kate Mara...uhmmm...wow, ugh, dayum. Didn't Molly Ringwall do the "let's make a dress out of scraps" look in the 80's? And what is that on her head?

Mariska Hargitay and Nicole Kidman looked beautiful. The back of Nic's dress was racy. Only thing I didn't like was the rather fussy necklace she was wearing. Otherwise, she looked lovely, as always.
