Royal Wedding: William & Kate To Honeymoon On Scilly Islands? (VIDEO)

London newspaper The Mirror is reporting that the likely destination for the royal honeymoon will be the close-to-home Islands of Scilly.

The islands, roughly 29 miles off of Cornwall, are great for sight-seeing pretty coves and inlets.

Frequent famous visitors include Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Helen Mirren, according to the Mirror.

Back in 1989, William went to the Islands of Scilly with his family.

I dont believe in royalty, it's undemocratic. I also don't like the fact that Prince Harry was taken out of iraq due to security issues. So what only poor people are supposed to die for the elites pointless wars?

Undemocratic? They are constitutional heads, not prime ministers or presidents.

Their ceaseless work with thousands of charities, let alone their own personally funded charities, give chances to millions of people. The lives of many poor people have been vastly improved because of their work.

That doesn't even start to take into account the tourism money they bring into their respective countries, the constitutional continuity they ensure, the good international relations they promote, such as the incredible work the Queen does with the Commonwealth, and the trade relationships they create.

The Scilly Islands are beautiful and will be at spring's height in April.  Security and privacy will be easier, too.  Good choice, during a recession.
