BP Will Start Paying Dividends Again

BP Plc, Europe's second-biggest oil company, reinstated the dividend and will sell two U.S. refineries as it recovers from the Gulf of Mexico spill.

BP will pay a dividend of 7 cents a share for the last three months of 2010, half the level before the spill, after canceling the payout for the first three quarters. It plans to dispose of its Texas City and Carson refineries.
