Jerusalem UFO Spottings Over Islamic Landmark Spark Debate (VIDEO)

Dueling clips of a purported UFO hovering over Dome of the Rock, an Islamic shrine, on Jerusalem's Temple Mount, have created an online ruckus since surfacing online.

Not surprisingly, AOL is reporting on the blogosphere's ongoing debate over the legitimacy of the videos, which show round, bright objects hovering over the landmark's iconic dome before rocketing upwards. The videos, which include audio of the inspired reactions of spectators, were reportedly shot over the weekend.

From this angle and greater distance it appears that the UFO was spooked by a bright flash, possibly a photo strobe or potentially some defensive counter-measure.
So now to answer the question that most non believers rely on:
Q~ Where are they?
A~ Keeping a safe distance. Why would any advanced intelligence want to play with us? We suck. We maintain one foot in the clouds and the other foot in the cave.
Half our existence is based on maintaining antiquated and obsolete traditions and the other half is a self-aggrandizing, imaginary ego trip into the fabled land of 'oh-ba-doo'.
Reviewing some of the amazing archeology from thousands of years ago, we are too fixated on the question of "HOW?" How did our distant ancestors move slabs of granite some weighing twice that of a 747 jet, 10 miles up a mountain in the Andes . . . 7,000 years ago??
We should be questioning WHY? Why would they? The answer is: They wouldn't. Therefore they didn't.

Thanks for that. But, those analysis's are not conclusive. They cancel out 1-2 of the videos but not all of them. And producing 'hoaxes' is a premium technique 'debunkers' use to discredit an actual event.

In fact, it's interesting to note that the great majority of hoax videos are 'Gotcha' videos created by 'debunkers'.

The first thing I said when I saw that still applies, 'unless an original recording is examined in a AV Lab, it could be a fake.' Notwithstanding if thousands of witnesses came forth and verified it, which they haven't.

So until either of those events happen, it's an unknown.

This story really deserves to get updated. There are now 4 videos of the event which deserve scrutiny. In fact, if you search on YT for ufo sightings in late January 2011, you will find an extremely large number of them from Europe and Asia. And then there's the sighting in Utah.

Personally, I believe that ET contact was made; that an energy or entity was beamed into Jerusalem, and that it is the reason the Egyptian people were able to depose Mubarak in such a peaceful way. If you weren't impressed by the power of brotherly love, non-violence and respect in the streets of Cairo and Alexandria, then I guess my viewpoint won't make any sense to you.

People power is going to spread in the Middle East and Africa. They will do what we can not in the United States because after 2-3 days in the streets, we would be drunk, stoned, high, looting, beating and shooting the crap out of each other. I wish I had more faith in US, but I don't. But I do hope that witnessing the courage of these people will inspire US. If you can't recognize that our world is undergoing radical, unfathomable changes at every level, then this won't make sense to you. So be it. It's not a religious revolution--it's a consciousness revolution.

You people *cannot* be serious. These things are so obviously fake. We have all this great camera/video technology in phones, in pockets, etc., and these fuzzy videos are the best anyone can manage? Two questions you should ask right off the bat:
Who are the witnesses? Have you actually heard from any? There should be hundreds at least.
The city is loaded with security camaras, esp in that area.
Did any of them record this 'flash'?

and that's even before scrutinizing the videos themselves.

To the Believers such things are unimportant. Anything that doesn't agree with what they KNOW is true is a government conspiracy to hide the truth.
