They all knew each other.She might have taken it home to show to her friends and make sure she really liked it before buying, so as not to have buyer's remorse. Is there a video showing, Lindsey hiding the necklace before walking out with it?

How can someone walk out with stolen necklace around her neck unnoticed, unstopped by a buzzer,gaurd,watchful eyes of jeweller and across locked doors unless it was with the express knowledge or consent of the jeweller?

Do you really believe that Lindsey would wrap the stolen necklace around her neck and flash it in broad day light in clear view of jeweller,glare of TMZ cameras and expect not to be caught red handed ?

Lindsay had been wearing the necklace for a week and getting repeatedly photographed and jeweller and stupid Police is watching it.

Does that tell you that she had the taken the necklace with intent to steal? If jeweller was watching it on her neck,why did he not go to Lindsay and tell her, Hey thats my necklace, give it back to me. You took it without asking for it or just bluntly you stole it ?

A person of color would not be out of jail for the first crime. and if so this would send them back to the slammer as a second or third strike. The necklace was worth over $500 so it is a felony.

Grand theft does not make sense.Lindsey could not wear stolen property and certainly would not and could not sell it.. She would have to show certificate of ownership.What could she do with the money by selling $ 2500 necklace? Get couple of tankful of gas or buy pair of stockings.

Note the difference in attitude shown to Charlie Sheen over the years. Threads about his latest doings are full of praise for Charlie, admiration, envy of his lifestyle. Both people are train wrecks but I would argue that Charlie is worse because he had the poor judgement to bring kids into the world and now chooses to spend his time in hotels with hookers doing drugs.

His children are going to end up with more issues than Lindsay Lohan has. The world does not have a people shortage - if you want to live like Charlie Sheen, get a vasectomy first.

Anyone who says there is not still a double standard between men and women is full of it.
