10-Year-Old-Boy Falls In Subway While Gaming (VIDEO)

Boys Falls In Subway

This is why you should always look where you're going.

First it was a woman falling into a fountain while texting, now it's a 10-year-old Italian boy falling into a subway.

The boy, who was playing his PSP at the time, was seemingly so entrenched in his game he didn't realize he was walking onto the tracks. Luckily the train wasn't coming into the station, and policeman Alessandro Micalizzi saw him fall and was able to save him.

From Gawker:

He was with his mother and sister, and before he fell I saw them out of the corner of my eye and he was completely lost in his game and wasn't looking where he was going.

I just had a few seconds because he had got off a train and mine was due in less than a minute so I acted as quickly as I could, making sure not to touch the rails.

Good that he is alive, but this shows how technology can really divert your attention from dangerous situations.

Well there are no such things as 'extra lives' so he may want to pay attention to the game of LIFE.

Why don't they have a rail along side the platform that would descend when the train arrives and rise when the train departs??

Its so simple!

People got distracted before gaming. I've seen people walking engaged in a conversation and smack right into a signpost.

The ending could have turned out so much worse. A total stranger jumping into action in less than a second, saved his life. I know people get preoccupied, but you would think when your child is about to walk off a subway platform, you would notice.

Mistake learned. Hope this will affect this the rest of his life so he will never do it again.
