'A Mouthful' Trailer: The Rise And Fall Of Paul Liebrandt (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Mouthful' Examines Life Of Wildly Creative Chef

Paul Liebrandt, the experimental and beleaguered New York chef, is getting the big screen treatment (that is, if behind-the-scenes documentaries actually get shown on the big screen [hopefully!]).

A Mouthful is the work of director Sally Rowe, and follows chef Liebrandt from his hyped-up origin as the hottest, most original chef in New York, to his eventual downfall ("I'm unemployed, and yet Vogue magazine has three-page spreads on me") all the way to his recent comeback as the head of TriBeCa's Corton.

The trailer shows interviews with luminaries like Thomas Keller and Eric Ripert, who appears almost jealous at Liebrandt's elegant, visually sumptuous creations -- and portrays Liebrandt as a ruthless, creative and often recklessly cocky 'artist' (his words).

The film premieres at the South By Southwest Film Festival in March, but you can check out the trailer here.
