News Corp-owned The Daily got some love tonight at halftime of the Super Bowl with its very own commercial.
Typically a $3 million spot, Rupert Murdoch's FOX was able to showcase the new iPad app in a promotional slot, Peter Kakfa reports for All Things Digital.
Dubbed "the first iPad only newspaper," The Daily launched last week, though it's faced some criticism for not being available on the Web and slow load times. It's free for two weeks and then it will cost 99 cents per week.
