Eddie House Shoves Blake Griffin: Heat Guard Receives Flagrant Foul (VIDEO)

FLAGRANT: Blake Griffin Shoved From Behind, Crashes Into Basket

Blake Griffin has been getting attacked over the last couple of weeks, both verbally and physically.

In the fourth quarter of Miami's 97-79 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, Blake Griffin started to get ready for another monstrous dunk and called for an alley-oop pass. But before Griffin could take off, Heat guard Eddie House shoved him from behind and sent him crashing into the base of the basket.

Clippers guard Baron Davis ran up to House after the play and got in his face.

"I am going to go to war for my teammates," Davis said. "I am always going to stick up for my teammates. My teammates are like my brothers."

House was given a flagrant-2 foul at first, but the referees downgraded it after reviewing the play.

"I was just playing the game. I wasn't trying to hurt the guy or anything like that," House said. "I saw he was calling for the lob, and there's no way I could get to him to wrap him up so I was just trying to foul him and have him take it out on the side. I did lower my shoulder and got him a little bit, but I don't think it was that much. I mean, that dude is way bigger than me."

He went on to say that he is not a dirty player. Scroll down to watch the video.
