Elle Fanning Stars In Short Film For Rodarte (VIDEO)

Step aside, Tavi and Natalie Portman. The Rodarte sisters seem to have found a new muse: 12-year-old Elle Fanning. The pint-sized actress is set to star in the short film, "The Curve of Forgotten Things," a collaboration between designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy and director Todd Cole, WWD reports.

Cole told the fashion newspaper, the project is "inspired by Northern California, and the Seventies. It's about this girl who exists in this strange place outside of time. She's digging up things from the land and the past, and she offers them to the sun." It will debut on Nowness.com on Tuesday.

Well, just perfect..between tween make-up being hyped for 11 year olds and this brand of youth-at-any-age-or-cost, because that is what it is, let's face it, I am starting to feel less than numb about transgendered models now..

I am wondering how and why Rodarte did not get the nomination for best costume for Black Swan from the Academy Award committee? It was fantastic, and of course Natalie Portman's character Nina could not have been more magnificent if it had not been for those costumes!
