Kevin Garnett Defends Groin Shot: 'I Never Apologize For My Actions'

UNAPOLOGETIC: Garnett Defends Goin Shot

Kevin Garnett's reputation as a dirty player has grown over the last few weeks. With that said, the Boston Celtics star will not apologize for his actions.

During Boston's loss to Phoenix last month, replay clearly showed Garnett committing a dirty play and hitting Suns forward Channing Frye in the groin.

After the two got in a brief scuffle, Garnett was ejected. And yet, he still won't back down.

"This game was physical as well and super ugly. I never apologize for my actions, as I play with passion," Garnett said. "I actually got ejected for (the ref said) 'talking too much.' Can you believe that? It was unfortunate, and I hate to leave my team out there without being around to support them."

Eric Freeman of Yahoo's Ball Don't Lie pointed out that Garnett was actually suspended for the low blow.
