Steve Harvey's Court Documents Disprove Ex-Wife Mary Harvey's YouTube Allegations

The judge in yesterday's court hearing between talk show host Steve Harvey and ex-wife Mary Harvey temporarily lifted a gag order to allow Steve Harvey to respond to Mary's recent YouTube allegations.

In the videos, Mary Harvey, whose divorce was finalized in 2005, claimed that Steve was a serial cheater throughout their marriage and left her with nothing after their split.

Documents released by the court yesterday indicate that Mary Harvey was not left destitute after her divorce, as she had suggested. Rather, she was paid $40,000 a month until March 2009 and received a $1.5 million lump sum thereafter.

Mary, who claims she was "evicted" from their home, was also awarded three homes in their property settlement.

The documents indicate that Steve Harvey has primary custody of their 13-year-old son Wynton, whom Mary sent on a plane to his father with Steve's knowledge--a fact Mary's former assistant recently confirmed.

"Mary was very overwhelmed and she did not want that...so she asked me to get a ticket and put [Wynton] on the plane to his father," Mary's former assistant Jocelin said on the Rick Smily Morning Show. "I had to put him on the plane and not let [Steve's] party know until 30 minutes before he landed."

Steve Harvey "is authorized to publish this order for the limited purpose of refuting the allegations of respondent Mary Lee Harvey," the documents said. "... [A]ll prior injunctions and gag orders remain in full force and effect."

The judge also ordered Mary Harvey to remove the videos from the internet and to cease talking about the divorce and custody case.
