The Sexiest Cities In America (PHOTOS)

Orbitz.com, the travel booking site and general spot for deals, released a list this week of the sexiest cities in the country. The website polled readers for the Valentine's Day Travel Survey to choose between San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York for the sexiest cities in America.

While San Francisco came in #1 with 18% of the vote (just barely inching out Miami), a whopping 33% of responders said that other cities than the 6 choices were sexier. Of course, the readers were not held responsible for listing their picks (or even defining what was sexy to them) so we leave it to you, our readers, to tell us what YOU think are the sexiest cities that didn't make the cut and, to you make up the 33%.

I live in San Francisco and love it so much. It's romantic and quaint. But sexy? Hills, cable cars, good food, views and nature are wonderful. But sexy?

I'd vote for a dark, jazzy, wild, warm and thrilling place like New Orleans before I'd put my beloved San Francisco on the sexy list.

It's hard to be sexy when you have to wear layers all year and the fog chills you to the bone, and most people's orgasms revolve around the best wine, the best food, and the best compost and recycling method.

And *sigh* now that all the gays are marrying and having kids, who has time for sex?

If you think sexy is fun, bubbly and cute, pick SF

If you think sexy is looking good in a swim suit or at a club, Miami is a good bet

If you think sexy is fleeting and debaucherous, head to Vegas

If you think sexy is pure, solid and dependable, Chicago is your choice

If you think sexy is plastic and botox, LA should work.

But if you think sexy is refined, intelligent and cosmopolitan, NYC is the only real choice

Do the survey in the summer and you will get different results. Chicago is only sexy in the summer when you don't have to dress for the arctic, the beaches are open, and the outdoor cafes are in full swing.

Las Vegas is unless you count man made Lake Mead and the Colorado River which aren't exactly in downtown and all the other watered places on the strip are manufactured by each casino resort hotel
