Bristol Palin Fires Back At Kathy Griffin Weight Comments

Kathy Griffin has been making headlines with her Palin family heckles, but her main target doesn't seem all too concerned. Not that she doesn't have a few derisive words of her own for the comedienne.

Bristol Palin spoke with E! Online this week, and was asked what she thought about Griffin's incessant teasing of her family, which has included flirting with her ex-fiance Levi Johnston and making fun of her weight by calling her "the white Precious," and saying she gained 30 pounds in one week.

"It didn't [hurt my feelings] because it was coming from Kathy Griffin of all people, and I think it just shows her immaturity. I don't think that stuff's funny at all. Just very strange," Palin said.

But then she got in a little jab for good measure:

"And it's weird, also, that she would pick on my weight. She's had botched liposuction procedures and stuff like that, so...It's just weird that she would pick on something like that for another woman."

This wasn't the first time that Palin has responded to the controversy. Soon after the original remarks were made, she said, "The audience's reaction to this 'comedian' spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too. I hope people didn't have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms."

Not that Griffin cares what Palin thinks -- she's already promised to offend another Palin family member this year.
