Levi's Debuts Ex-Girlfriend Jeans (PHOTOS, POLL)

We've heard of the boyfriend jean -- low slung, baggy, a little ripped, kind of like you stole your man's pants and decided to wear them out with high heels and a t-shirt. But the ex-girlfriend jean? That's a new one.

Levi's has introduced the super skinny pants meant to be a tribute to "the girlfriend with the great style...a fit that's super-snug allover, an update of the five-pocket classic that's as skinny as it gets." Sounds like you're sure to find another girlfriend while donning these duds!

Hey folks, why are many of you writing that negative ? Did you try the new jeans ? They are very comfortable to wear and you feel very good when they´re shaping your body. Because of the special cut and materials they are not as tight as girl´s skinny jeans. They are made for tall and athletic guys and they´ll love them. When girls jeans startet getting tight again, men didn´t say any negative or bad things about them.

So I´m sure some people are to prude to tell the truth thas these jeans are coming in time and guys can wear them with completely acceptation by public. Get cool and let everyone wear, what she or he wants ! It´s not fair to say all skinny looks for guys are to tight and so on !!!

older generations will never understand the style of the younger ones. when you were young did your parents understand your style? whether you like it or not, levis are just keeping up with the trends. I for one love the jeans - would you rather have back the terrible baggy jeans that hang off of someones butt? I'm just saying, don't dislike the jeans just because you saw a few dirty hipsters hanging out at starbucks with these on... put with the right outfit, im sure these could look pretty bad a**

Just recently some magazines were predicting the demise of tight jeans for men!

I guess many commentators don't like such jeans because they or their loved ones cannot fit in such jeans. Only recently I bought Levi's 510 jeans and they are super comfortable. One needs to have a body for them to look nice though. I think if I gain 2 pounds I won't be able to fit in them and this keeps me on my toes being careful with my weight. Won't try these ex-girlfriend jeans though, which is a disadvantage for being so well-endowed. :)

This true, but I am naturally small myself and eat everything I want and my 510s are fairly loose sometimes. The people below if you see some of their pics are not built to be wearing skinny jeans. You wear what fits your body type. I am pondering about purchasing these jeans and will rock them if i do.

There are good biological reasons why women can wear body-hugging tight pants and men cannot. I mean you can but there is a price to pay and I do not mean your dignity.

Who are these men dating? Seriously, most women have WIDE hips. This is what allows children to be born. Super Skinny Jeans are not "Ex-Girlfriend Jeans" - Those jeans are Anorexic jeans, for anorexics, heroin addicts and people who are really into crystal meth.
Depending on your height, for someone over 5'7" a hip size of 36"-42" is an average size for an American woman.
I had a hip measurement of 38" when I was *14* years old!
Skinny jeans look terrible on anyone who doesn't have an eating disorder or a drug habit...Guys AND girls.

I was just going off on men in tight jeans, fitted flannels and unkempt beards. Oh and don't forget the Keds. Its the wimpy lumberjack look. I hate it but that is just my opinion.

eekgads! Skinny jeans on girls are hard enough to pull off, but fellows -- and with these being the skinniest skinny jeans, yet -- yeah, I'd rather not see too many men in these. But aren't these pants an oxymoron -- they want these pants to be the ex-girlfriends jean so you can get a girlfriend ASAP, but I'd say in these jeans the ex-girlfriend is going to be the break-up winner as not too many gals will be shacking up with a man whose pencil legs turn her average legs into thunder thighs, by comparison!!
