Lady Gaga's Grammys 2011 Looks (PHOTOS, POLL)

Lady Gaga kept it pretty tame at Sunday night's Grammy Awards.

After arriving to the Grammys in an egg, the songstress took to the stage in a canary yellow ensemble topped off with a hat. She then picked up her award for best pop vocal album in a black bustier by Mugler. After, she took her seat in a pleather bra (with one blazer shoulder?) and skirt, paired with over-the-knee boots and a different headpiece. Overall, not too thrilling.

I didn't notice what she was wearing. I couldn't stop looking at her shoulders. I find them both fascinating and mildly nauseating.

i'm always down for a good freak show, but these meaningless contrivances in music have got to end. how about putting some meaning in the lyrics instead of showing up in a giant egg?

And speaking of less, I was really surprised with her physique on stage versus how she looked in the 60 Minutes interview.

At least she showed a little bit of a classy appearance & could sing.
Unlike Rihanna who was off key & just ground her crotch into the camera.

I thought the same thing as I watched her. I also thought "what's with the condom-latex outfits?" when a friend "explained" no, that's egg yolk. Oh, now THAT makes it sooo much better.

Actually Madonna and Gaga are friends and Madonna loves her music. They even had a sing off dance off at a party Madonna was throwing last year. Guess Madonna can appreciate Gaga's talent. I challenge you to find a musician who has not used other artists influences in their work..go ahead...I'll wait.

There is a huge difference between being influenced and plagiarizing someone else's work. It's a fine line, but like pornography, we know it when we see it. Lady Gaga's stylists are blatantly ripping off everyone from Grace Jones to Bjork. It's not a sin to wear your influences on your sleeve, but it would be nice to see Gaga take those influences and make them into something new. That is when she'll truly become (as she claims she is) avant-garde. So far, she hasn't done it.
