Another fatherless child...it's a real shame. I wish we lived in a world where heterosexuals and homosexuals would think more about the needs of their children than their own narcissistic needs.

Baby is cute. I really do no think it is strange to ask who the daddy is. The child one day will also want to know. It is fine that there are two moms, but I would hope that they either picked a donor they knew, or that they plan to somehow include a male in their life so the child has the benefit of both sexes especially since he is a boy. Of course girls need a male role model as well. Both my parents are long gone. I miss both parents the same. They both played a different role in my life, but equally important.

As a lesbian I can tell you that is one question we HATE being asked. The other is "So, who is the daddy?" It's rude. Just say, "What a beautiful baby!" and move on.
